Chelsea to sign Tottenham target Charlie Allen?

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly go head to head for Northern Irish teenager Charlie Allen in the January transfer window.

According to Football Insider, the Blues are looking to provide fierce competition to their London rivals by hijacking their bid to sign The 15-year-old starlet.

The report states Allen went on a trial at Spurs before holding talks about a potential move to north London.

Chelsea have also contacted Allen’s club Linfield and hope to beat the Lilywhites to the player’s signature.

The report goes on to say, Manchester City are also keeping an eye on the teenager.

Chelsea are in the fifth spot in the Premier League table after winning three of their last four matches.
