Manchester United have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen as a transfer target for the January window.
The 27-year-old’s contract with the Lilywhites expire at the end of the season, and it appears that the playmaker will agree a new deal with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Both Real Madrid and Manchester United were linked with moves during the summer, but the Denmark international ultimately remained at north London.
The former Ajax youngster has cut a frustrated figure in the early stages of the ongoing campaign, though, and Tottenham are said to be open to the idea of selling him for around £30m at the beginning of 2020.
According to Goal.com, Man United are aware that league rivals are keen to avoid losing Eriksen on a free, and the Red Devils are preparing to make a January move.
Eriksen has scored 14 goals in all competitions during the 2018-19 season.
