Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
Last week, it was reported that the Red Devils had told Los Blancos that they would want the German playmaker as part of any potential deal for Paul Pogba during the January.
The 20-time English champions are said to have made an offer for the 2014 World Cup winner during the summer, only for the veteran midfielder to sign a new long-term deal at the Spanish capital.
According to Bild, though, the Red Devils are still determined to secure a deal for Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, who had been widely tipped to move to Old Trafford in 2013.
Manchester United are currently short of options in the middle of the park following the departure of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.
