The Hobart Hurricanes have announced the signing of 19-year-old all-rounder Jarrod Freeman for next season’s Big Bash League.
The teenager showed plenty of promise in his debut stint in purple last summer.
“I loved my time with the squad last season and I can’t wait to build on that experience this summer,” said Freeman.
“I learned so much from the playing group and the atmosphere, particularly in front of family and friends in Launceston, was fantastic to play in front of.”
“Jarrod’s a great young player who really enjoys learning,” said Hurricanes Head Coach Adam Griffith.
“His performances in Darwin highlighted the strides he’s taken since debuting last summer and I’m looking forward to seeing him develop further as he gets more matches under his belt at the highest level.”
The off-spinner joins Qais Ahmad and D’Arcy Short so far for the season ahead.
