Former Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has joined the Serie A club Fiorentina on a two-year deal.
The 36-year-old, who left the Bundesliga champions when his contract expired at the end of last season, will be unveiled by La Viola at a press conference on Thursday, the Italian outfit confirmed on their official website.
Fiorentina have not disclosed the duration of Ribery’s contract, but it has been suggested the winger has signed a two-year deal.
The Frenchman won nine Bundesliga titles and the Champions League, in 2013, during his 12-year glorious spell with the Bavarians after joining from Marseille in 2007.
Ribery scored 16 times in 81 appearances for France and featured in 2006 World Cup final defeat to Italy.
