Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren has remained a transfer target for the Italian club AS Roma.
The Croatia international has been attracting interest from clubs in Serie A during the summer transfer window.
AC Milan have previously been linked with the 30-year-old defender, although Giallorossi have seemingly emerged as number one contenders since the beginning of August.
While Liverpool are unlikely to sell the defender, Corriere dello Sport claims that AS Roma are still considering their options whether to launch a bid.
Paulo Fonseca’s side need to find a replacement for Kostas Manolas, who joined Napoli on a five-year contract for €34m plus a €2m signing-on fee.
Lovren has made over 150 appearances for the Reds, being part of the winning squad at the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
