Yannick Bolasie wanted by Celtic

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is reportedly the subject of interest from Celtic.

The DR Congo international has struggled with injuries since joining the Toffees in 2016, making just 32 appearances.

The 30-year-old winger signed for Belgian outfit Anderlecht on loan for the remainder of the 2018–19 season, where he scored six goals in 17 appearances.

With the arrival of Alex Iwobi from Arsenal is believed to have made Bolasie surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.

Goal now understands that Scottish champions, alongside Rennes and Besiktas, are interested in Bolasie’s services before the European transfer window shuts down on September 2.

Bolasie’s £80,000-a-week wage at the Merseyside outfit could prove significant in negotiations, with the club believed to be looking for as much of the £25m they paid for the attacker.
