Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Evening Standard.
Spurs have contacted the Italian champions Juventus about a possible deal for the Argentina international.
The report adds that The Lilywhites are ready to break their club transfer record this summer if a swoop for Dybala is a genuine possibility.
The Old Lady are thought to be open to offers this summer after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival last year.
The Evening Standard adds, Juve would consider selling Dybala if they received an offer in the region of £80m.
Spurs are confident that a deal can be reached between all three parties before the transfer deadline on 11 August.
Tottenham Hotspur will need to act fast to get a deal for the Argentine over the line considering that the north Londoners have been contemplating a swoop for the South American over the past month.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have already signed Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon this summer.
