Manchester City are reportedly remain interested in signing AFC Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.
The Premier League champions are expected to move for a new centre-back in this summer’s transfer window in order to fill the void left by departed Vincent Kompany.
Earlier this month, it was reported that City were eyeing a £40m move for Ake, who has impressed for the Cherries since moving to Dean Court from Chelsea.
According to The Telegraph as quoted by the London Evening Standard, the Dutchman is still on the Manchester City’s wishlist and have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing the 24-year-old defender this summer.
Ake’s contract with Eddie Howe’s side is valid until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
