Arsenal are on the verge of signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid, according to Spanish media outlet AS, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners are “one step away” from signing the 22-year-old midfielder on loan for the 2019-20 season.
The report adds, Ceballos has decided to move to the Premier League and the Gunners are at the front of the queue to secure Ceballos’s signature.
The report goes on to claim that Tottenham Hotspur have also credited with an interest in the Spain Under-21 international but Arsenal look hopeful to win the race for Ceballos’ services.
The north Londoners have only signed Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano in the summer transfer window so far.
