Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in making an official £50m bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to The Independent.
The Portugal international enjoyed an impressive 2018-19 season for Sporting, contributing 32 goals and 18 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move for the 24-year-old midfielder in recent weeks, while Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.
The report claims, Manchester United are now preparing a concrete £50m offer for the Portuguese with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen for the midfielder to move to Old Trafford.
The 20-time English champions have already signed Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka so far this summer.
