Arsenal have reportedly taken the lead in the race to sign Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has just starred for Spain Under-21s at the European Championship – is said to be open to a move away from the Bernabeu ahead of a new campaign in a bid to earn regular first-team action.
According to Spanish outlet Marca claim that Arsenal are most likely to sign the Real Madrid attacker Dani Ceballos – who joined Madrid from Betis in 2017.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery may see Ceballos as a direct replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is set to join Juventus on a free transfer.
The North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have previously been suggested as the favourites to win the race for Ceballos.
