MUFC line up £50m bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Man United are ready to make a £50m bid to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to a report

Manchester United are putting together a £50m offer to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to increase their bid for the 21-year-old after Crystal Palace rejected their £40m offer.

The same article states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Wan-Bissaka to fill the void left by former Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia.

According to the same story, Manchester United aren’t guaranteed to sign Wan-Bissaka despite upping their bid to £50m.

The Daily Mirror report claims that the Eagles are hoping to secure a figure around the £60m mark for the England international in the upcoming transfer window.

Wan-Bissaka showed plenty of promise throughout the 2018-19 Premier League season following a return of three assists in 35 appearances for the London side.

Although Palace finished in 14th place in the Premier League table, Roy Hodgson’s side ended up conceding less goals than Manchester United.

The Red Devils have already been linked with a host of defenders since the conclusion of the Premier League season.

Manchester United finished in sixth place in the table last term behind Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the race to secure a spot in the top four.

Solskjaer s side were hoping to sign Wan-Bissaka for less than their failed bid and are understood to be frustrated by inflated prices this summer.
